A fantastic mid-nineteenth century oak gateleg table on functioning casters. Most likely English and a clever piece for small spaces, this elegant table with beautifully turned legs serves both functional and aesthetic purposes.
Note photos to observe how the legs on either side can be pulled out to hold the half-moon-shaped table leaves and expand the table from a rectangle to a larger circle which can seat four people comfortably. Please see detail photos to note a few marks that are not visible from a distance.
